Sesshomarou
A poem in the point of view of Rin
I never had a father til I met Lord Sesshomarou
He treated me nice and kind like your fathers do to you
My real parents were murdered and I saw the whole thing
I was devastated that's why I didn't talk or sing
One day I was wandering in the woods away from town
When I saw a man laying with a tired beat-up frown
I tried to bring him water and food too
But he said "I don't eat what humans do."
I went to get some fish from the town reserve
But they found out, beat me, and I was hurt
But still I trudged on and to him I came to
When I got there he saw my face and asked "Who?"
I did not answer just laughed and smiled
Because even though he denied it this man cared for this child
When I returned to town we were attacked by the wolf-demon tribe
And even though I ran, I lost my life
Later Lord Sesshomarou recognized my scent
When he found me dead, his rules against humans he bent
Despite his hatred and dislike
He gave me back my little life
So for all the years I'd suffered through
I never had a father, but now I do!
