When you dance I want to lead,
Quietly, faithfully, follow me;
Allow me just a little control;
I'll show you how it should really go.

The dance we've built; so very lovely,
Everyone is watching closely.
Music comes from the White House.
Before Paris stands Mickey Mouse.

We all live in America,
America is Wonderland.
We're all living in America;
Stars and Stripes, Freedom Land.

The music plays; the notes held on,
I will protect you from stepping wrong,
And who wouldn't want to dance with us?
They don't realise yet that they must.

The dance we've built; so very lovely,
We'll teach them how to dance properly.
To Africa comes Santa Claus.
Before Paris stands Mickey Mouse.

We all live in America,
America is Wonderland.
We're all living in America;
Fifty States, Freedom Land.

This is not a love song, no it's not.
American's not the mother tongue, no it's not.
Land of the Free, Home of the Brave (no it's not).
God bless America, but bless me not.

We all live in America,
America is Wonderland.
We're all living in America;
Bravery Home, Freedom Land.

We shall dance 'til your feet are bleeding,
But don't you even think of leaving;
Dance with me 'til I lay you to rest,
And we'll call your Destiny Manifest.

We all live in America,
America is Wonderland.
We're all living in America,
America is Wonderland.

A/N:

I don't own Hetalia, or Rammstein and their song Amerika, on which this poem is based. This poem does not reflect the views of myself; it is purely creative.

I mostly did this to get to grips with my new Kindle Fire. When I put in 'wunderbar', it came up with Wonderland, which is why it is America is Wonderland, instead of America ist wunderbar or America is wonderful.

I apologise to anyone who may be offended by this.
