Rwby x Azur Lane

A portal was opened in the middle of a base in the Pacific ocean bringing hell with it, mysteriously killing off all the staff placed there. What's more strange is that black creatures and robots were reported to be the invaders just before the base fell. Thus, two fleets are tasked to find the rift and hold it down. Though, they never expected to spot what's over the horizon.

1. My thoughts

Edit from the future: So at the moment, I don't have a clever enough name for the fic yet sooo I'm going to have to call it just Rwby x Azur Lane until I think of a name...which won't be for a while. For these first couple chapters, I'll admit my writing was, questionable, at best. I don't even know where I was going for one of the chapters but oh well. If you make it past that certain chapter, and I'll know you passed it, then congrats. It gets better over time, hopefully you can agree aswell.

With that said, welcome to my story of mine that I thought of making when I was playing AL. This is also the first ever crossover on Fanfiction for AL, coughnottryingtoflexcough so I thought that was pretty cool. The whole idea of making this story was kinda funny to me, I don't know why. One day, trying to farm Akagi/Kaga, I was like "Eh, why the fuck not?" I first thought of doing a Kancolle x Rwby fic but I haven't seen KC neither have I played the game, shocking right? And though I made this only some months after the AL initially came out, I like what progress I made so far. Just a small disclaimer which I still beat myself up for is...this story is going to be veeery AL heavy for the first couple chapters...you could even consider it a standalone story. But yeah.

And well, coming back to this small introduction, I felt like It was necessary to re-do since it was, unfortunately, more confusing than informative. Because not much people knew of AL back then, I felt like it was necessary to explain the whole fleet formation worked and jazz like that and well, it just kinda...flopped. Hopefully, by now, you either played the game, seen videos about it, and you're walking into this knowing how the Ships look and act, same with Rwby. Not that like that matters either since I like to fuck around with my Ships' personalities.

Anyways, enough of that. I will still keep the Class designations like such below.

DD: Destroyer

CL: Light Cruiser

CA: Heavy Cruiser...Armored Cruiser?

BB: Battleship

BC: Battlecruiser

CVL: Light Carrier

CV: Carrier

At first, I already spoiled what ships were going to added to the fic but I just ended up keeping them anonymous and leaving you, the reader, up to finding out who they were.

I want to keep this short but you may ask, "Are you not going to talk about the Rwby portion of the story, Mr Author?" and well, I just kinda don't want to. Really, I just let the story do the talking instead.

Only 2 fleets will be used during the run of this story. Will I add more in the long run? Maybe-maybe not. And only a handful of Rwby characters will be used aswell.
