Speedy was staying at the Titans Tower in Jump City one weekend to visit his old friends. It had been a while since he had stopped by and hung out with them all. It almost felt as if he was starting to lose his friendship with them and he couldn't let that happen. They were practically family to him and their friendship meant a lot to him.

The first night he had stayed there, he couldn't sleep. It was strange. There wasn't any noise going on. Everyone was rather calm compared to back home where chaos was constant almost every second of everyday.

He was wide awake, rather lonely in the Tower. He had wandered off from his guest room to the living area where the wide screen television was. The hallways were dark and quiet. Nothing was very lively at night in the Jump City Tower- or at least it hadn't seemed so.

As he made his way over to the rounded sofa, he noticed a shadowy figure. He thought all the Titans had gone to sleep, but it turns out that there was one a bit more nocturnal than the others.

He went to investigate who it was and called out, "Hey, what are you doing up?" It was Raven and she was a bit surprised to not be alone as well. "I was about to sit down and start reading." She replied blankly, while raising her book to him even though it was very visible in the darkness. "What are you doing up so late?"

He walked over to the light switch of the room and flicked it up. He turned his head over to her and answered her question. "Can't sleep, nothing in particular." With a shrug of his shoulders, he walked over to her.

"Well, maybe we should do something since neither of us seem to have anything better to do- well, unless you really want to sit and read."

She thought about it for a few moments. She really didn't know Roy that well, and he was a rather genuine person. This could be a great opportunity for her to make a new friend, so she agreed to it. "Have anything in mind?"

Speedy glanced around the room, looking for some form of idea. Maybe we can play a videogame? No, no, no- that's not really Raven's scene. He continued to ponder his thoughts, before coming up with something they both may enjoy. "How do you feel about scary movies?" He questioned with a rather smooth voice. She looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

"They're pretty cool." She stated rather unmoved by the thought.

"Well, how do you feel about watching one?" He asked with a smile on his face.

She nodded her head in acceptance of the offer and picked out one from the shelf that the Titan's had for their movies. The movie she selected was "The Grudge."

They sat down on the sofa together and began the movie.

Throughout the experience they shared a lot of silly laughs and some horrified screams. The laughing was often times from the screams, knowing they were probably waking up the other Titans. In fact, about two thirds of the way into the movie, they managed to wake up Dick and he lectured them on the need for sleep- but it didn't stop them.

Towards the end of the movie, they actually felt a lot closer to each other. It was good for both of them to have a nice experience with one another, staying up late and sharing some memories.

"Well, I'm going to head to sleep. Goodnight, Raven! Thanks for tonight, it was really fun and we should definitely do something like that again."

"See you in the morning!"
