The Benefits of Laughter

Laughter is a beautiful thing.
It is fulfilling, it raises one's spirits, and it is typically contagious. This is a good thing, of course. Most would prefer laughter and joy to some of the uglier emotions out there.
There was an experiment done by researchers once, in fact, that tested the various effects emotions had on the human body: some ranging from the deepest despair to the most blissful happiness. It was found that a more positive attitude and a propensity toward laughter made the body healthier, stronger. Those who laughed were less often sick, far more relaxed, and infinitely less stressed. Those whose less jolly emotions were induced were left…incapacitated, to say the least.
No one deigned to mention how highly unethical these experiments were, and it was an issue best left alone anyway, considering the circumstances.
Now, take into account a typical day at the office. Most at work were stressed, anxious, afraid, etc. It made for a rather gloomy environment. Perhaps if they injected laughter into their daily routines more often, they might find their general outlook to be more positive. Perhaps they will feel healthier, perhaps there may be less complaints, and, best of all, perhaps they will have less work related casualties.
Laughter was, arguably, nature's best medicine. And, at the end of the day, despite the social and health related benefits, laughter simply made you feel good.
However, Reeve Tuesti was currently wishing that, for at least five seconds, Heidegger and Scarlet would stop laughing and shut their god damned mouths.
"Kyahaha! My efforts towards the ultimate weapon are about to pay off! Just you all wait and see!"
"Gyahaha! I've got quite the plans for Rufus's inauguration! Make sure Junon has its streets cleared!"
"Kyahaha!"
"Gyahaha!"
Maybe Reeve would be better off working with Avalanche…

A/N: I don't even know where this idea came from, but now it's a thing. I figured I'd share it…
