Everyman is born with two sides. A good and an evil side. No matter how hard you try to hide the evil, it is always there. It never leaves your body.

The young Romanian walked through the streets of London. He wasn't looking forward to visiting his father. It pained him to the man who raised him to be so torn and hurt. The man had done nothing to the world and yet they had spit him out like a piece of meat and like he was the scum of the earth. He walked into the mental ward of the hospital where he saw his father. He was looking out of a shattered window.

"Father, why are you all alone? Why don't you talk to some of the others?" Vladmir asked, kneeling down and putting his hand on his father's arm. No response.

"He hasn't spoken in days sir." A nearby nurse told him. "We've trying to get him to talk but, nothing."

"I see. Thank you miss." He said with a scowl on his face. "Father, you have to speak to me. That's all I ask." The man in the chair said nothing. "The people drove you mad father. You didn't deserve it. Look at you now. Lost in the dark like a wandering soul. You are silent in the loudest of all the rooms. It's like a night that will never end…"

Lost in the darkness

Silence surrounds you

Once there was morning

Now endless night

"If could reach you somehow, I would guide you back and teach you again…" he said praying his father could hear him. "You wouldn't be the same person. You would be reborn into a new man. I would pull you out of the darkness; you would see a light you've forgotten."

If I could reach you

I'd guide you and teach you

To walk from the darkness

Back into the light

"Father just listen, try to hear me…" He pleaded to the unmoving man. "I'll always be by your side. I'm always here, day or night. Never doubt that. You are will always have me, your son. I swear I'll never leave you" He said standing up and putting his hand on his father's shoulder. "I'll stay as long as you need father."

Deep in your silence

Please try to hear me

I'll keep you near me

Till night passes by

The Romanian was at a loss for words. What else could he say to man that didn't even hear him? He looked at his fathers wrinkled face and whispered softly to him.

"I swear on my life, I will find the answers. You will not go unheard. I promise this to you until the day I die." He swore to his father. He could not bear to be here any longer. His father couldn't hear him, the world hated him, so what was he? Was he a mad man for longing to see his father well? Did he see the unseen?

The doctor shook his head at these thoughts. He had to mad to even be thinking like that! He told his father a final goodbye for the day and walked the streets of London alone. He stopped and looked at the shattered window where his father was.

I will find the answer.

I'll never desert you-

I promise you this-

Till the day I die…

He walked down the main street and saw the faces of the people. He could not bear to see these people in the light of day. They were two-faced. If only everyone saw what was waiting right behind the façade.

There's a face that we wear

In the cold light of day-

AN

Prologues! They never tell anything important, Right? Well anyways, I don't who the father is. But in case you were wondering, Romania is Dr. Jekyll. The last names will be kept, just not the first. Also, I'm doing this by songs in the musical. But if you read this super short Prologue and/or first chapter, thank you! I swear I'll update!
