He was at a lose for words. Here he was with the girl of his dreams for the past two years next to him and he could not get up the old Gryffindor courage to get his arse in gear to do what he wanted to. He turned to his right and saw she had tears in her eyes, which had welled over and were streaking down her face.
"Why do you want to go meet with Granger she is nothing special I thought I was your girlfriend Potter?" ask the long raven haired beauty next to the boy.
"Cho, for one because she is my friend, and two she asked me to," He told her in a spaced out way to keep calm.
"Harry, why do you have to be this way I thought you asked me on a date." Cho asked him hoping he would give the answer she desperately needed to hear.
"Yes, Cho I did as you out on a date and I am going to finish this date before I go meet her," he replied seeing Cho visibly relax knowing he said what she wanted to hear.
He leans over and grabs her hand, stroking small circles on the back of her hand with his thumb. Gathering up what he thought he would need for this long talk in his mind he looked at Cho and said,
"I know losing Cedric last year was rough, and I feel the lose heavily because I was there to witness it, most of all I let a friend fall in to a trap without thinking assessing the situation and I lost a friend who I thought of as an older brother," he said taking a moment before adding, "I know it may seem soon to you but Cho you are my world the moment I got the courage to ask you to hogsmeade for the weekend I knew it was true, I do not dwell on the past for I look to the future for hope, basically I am asking is if you will be with me for the future."
"I am sorry Harry you will have to explain that better," she said brushing away the tears.
"I am saying that Cho I know you are grieving still over Cedric and I am grieving as well you can cry on my shoulder and I care for you so much that you matter to me not much of anything else does, I think what I am trying to say is that I love you Cho Zang Chang," Harry said finishing what he was saying then placed a kiss on her lips to seal it.
To say that Cho was shocked to the core was an understatement. She was floorer not only by Harry's revelation but by the fact that he kissed her and it felt like her body was on fire. She leaned into the kiss this time making it much harder and somewhat rushed between kisses and breaths she said, "I love you too, Harry James Potter."
Their drinks were set before them and some chocolate covered strawberries joined them as if it was a sixth sense Harry grabbed a strawberry and lifted it to Cho's lips for her to take a bite and they split it down the middle, ending it in a kiss.
Suddenly they heard screams from out in the village.
