The Star-Spangled Man
A/N: basically, Civil War didn't happen, but Peter, Scott and T'Challa are still a part of the Avengers.
''Look what I found!'' Sam suddenly exclaimed.
''What?'' Peter asked, rushing to his side almost immediately.
''I thought you were in your room?'' Sam asked, slightly unnerved. Before Peter could even open his mouth, Natasha answered for him.
''He has enhanced senses and is faster than a normal person. Also, Clint has been teaching him to use the vents.''
''How did you know that?'' Peter asked excitedly. Sam opened his mouth to speak but closed it again.
''I'm not even going to ask when you got here- you people are creepy.'' He muttered under his breath, shaking his head. Natasha simply smirked.
''What's going on?'' Scott asked, just coming into the room. FRIDAY had sent an alert throughout the Compound and the rest of the Avengers began trickling into the living room.
''What's so important we have to be here at 8:30 in the morning?'' Tony asked blearily, rubbing his eyes.
Sam simply grinned and told FRIDAY to project the video he wanted to show them on the wall.
The music started up, and Steve groaned. ''Can I go?''
''Nope!'' Sam said with glee.
Then the girls began to sing and dance and Steve was on stage. Natasha immediately began to giggle. Steve groaned.
''You did pantomime? This is the most AMAZING THING EVER! FRIDAY, tweet this out, will you?'' Tony exclaimed.
''Already on it, Sir.'' FRIDAY answered. Steve could almost hear the smirk.
''Please don't do it FRIDAY!'' Steve knew it had been sent out already, but he still tried to salvage what was about to happen.
''Too late!'' Tony shouted with glee, as his phone started to ping incessantly.
The video was drawing to a close, now.
''HE'S THE STAR-SPANGLED MAN WITH A PLAAAAAN!'' on this last line, everyone joined in, except Steve of course, but he had been humming along since around half way, just out of habit, of course. Not because he liked the song or anything.
He just hoped no one would find out about the school videos he had done against his better judgment…
