A counter with coffee, powdered creamer, sugar, and water bottles. Microwaveable cups stacked up next to the coffee dispenser. Silver was mixing creamer into his coffee. Gold was microwaving a cup of water. The microwave beeped, signaling its completion. Gold opened the microwave and took out his foam cup. He brought it over to the counter and grabbed the thing of sugar. He began to pour it into the water just as Crystal walked in.

"You drink coffee?" She asked it in a nervous offhanded way as she passed by the counter to sit at the table. Silver was watching Gold pour the white powdery substance into the cup of water. It pooled up on the surface in a clump.

"Nope!" Gold reached into his pocket and pulled out a tea packet.

"Oh...kay..." Crystal gave him a funky look before sitting at the table and pulling out her pokedex.

Silver's eyes widened, "you brought your own tea packet...?" He motioned to the basket of different types of tea next to the coffee dispenser as he took a sip of his own hot beverage.

"No," Gold set down the packet and pulled out two more, "I brought three!"

Silver chocked on his coffee, Crystal's head shot up to stare at him in disbelief. It was at that moment that Sapphire walked in.

"Hey, you bring your own tea too!?" She proceeded to pull out literal leaves stuffed into a ziplock bag. Silver had his cup to his mouth, and was about to take another sip from his coffee, but decided to abort that mission in order to keep from choking again. Crystal squinted her eyes, and her mouth opened slightly. She was absolutely speechless. Gold continued to pour the sugar into the water.

"Gold, you are not allowed to eat just the sugar." Crystal put her foot down on the situation. Sapphire leaned against the counter to watch the events unfold. Gold stopped pouring the sugar. He looked at the cup for a moment before placing a teabag into it and taking the bottle of sugar and pouring a large amount of it into his mouth. Silver's eyes widened. Sapphire acquired a large smile. Crystal stared at him with a blank look on her face.

Gold forced himself to swallow. Crystal smiled. "So, Gold," the smugness in her voice spoke volumes, "how's the creamer?" Gold made agagging noise, and pushed the cup away from himself.

"That's not sugar." He turned to Crystal, "YOU KNEW, DIDN'T YOU!?" He pointed an acusatory finger at her, "why'd you let me do that!?"

"I knew you'd undermine my authority, so I used it against you." Crystal made a shrugging motion, bringing jer hands close to level wiht her shoulders, "think of it as payback."

"For what!?"

"I don't know yet, but I'll tell you when it happens."

A/N; so this happened to my broher, and his opposition to authority made me think of Gold. The girl who warned him reminded me of Crystal. So this was born. It's highly exzaggerated in some ways, and completely accurate in others. Like the fact that he carries three tea bags with him at all times for some reason... and I try to tell people that homeschoolers are normal...
