A/N: a poem inspired by lord of the flies… written during physics
You knew you should have listened to him
He wasn't crazy
But you were beginning to think you were
He knew the truth—
He'd experienced the darkness.
You were going to give up
Then you saw what they did to him
And you knew the truth.
Shame it had to happen that way
And you, knowing you could have stopped it
If only you'd listened to him.
But you thought he was crazy.
