I sat in my dorm room with my friend Elle who was helping me pack up my stuff. We had been talking for a while about our summer plans, going out that night to watch the end-of-school-year fireworks, and other things. Eventually Elle had to go back to her place and get ready for a date with Emmett. About 20 minutes I was left with 3problems. 1. I was out of packing tape. 2. I was thirsty and Elle took the red bull fridge with her. and 3. My ipod was dead so I was left without my music.
So, I walked in the small store around the corner from my dorm room in hopes of getting more tape to pack up my stuff and something to drink. "Hi, can I get a Pepsi and some packing tape?" I asked an employee whose name was Danny.
"Yah here you go. See my friend over there," He pointed over to a boy I knew from professor Callahan's class named Adam. "Has been meaning to ask you what a lady such as your self might be doing tonight?" Why was he asking me this? I knew Adam was a good guy, but what would he want with a girl like me?
"Does you friend dance?"
"Like a drunk Chita Rivera."
"Well I was thinking we could hit a few parties and maybe watch the fireworks." Then I just walked out the store and I could have swore I saw Adam start dancing and chest bumping Danny. I had just landed the boy of my dreams.
Now to fix the music problem.
