Glittering roses stand
Grouped together in bundles of red
Afternoon sun at hand
Lightly my feet tread
Ripples spread in the infinite puddles
Remnants of the newest rain
Under umbrellas, couples cuddle
Staring at the passing train
The gentle green gaze of my eyes
Lift to the world above
Separated by lies
Together by love
I can still see your strong form
Tightly grasped hands
Yet your eyes were so warm
At a still beat, my heart stands
I cannot find the words
They tighten in my throat
Oh please let them be heard
So deeply contort
My hand extends beyond my reach
Trying to grasp yours
This is beyond my belief
My mind it floors
You're my miracle, my source of strength
Your smile makes my knees quake
There is no distance to long a length
I would not go to feel your beckoning wake
The touch of your warmth
Fingers intertwine
I feel like I am gazing into a roaring hearth
I hear you whisper, "You are mine"
A gentle caress
And tender gaze

Your strong embrace
With a whisper as gentle as snow
