Chapter one~

"Kimiga sukidato sakebitai….la….la….la….."

Narni……Kanzaki Takuya paused, hearing a melodious deep voice coming from the bathroom with the shower on in the background. He dropped his backpack and cautiously opened the door.

A chibi Kanzaki peered from behind the bathroom door and his jaw dropped at the sight of his lover, whose body was caressed be the water, his hair slicked back wet, with his eyes closed…….singing. For a moment, the chibi Kanzaki's eyes narrowed hentaily, then he popped back to his usual self….

Segoyhh….wa ka ra naie……kaede-kun…. A dashing grin appeared and he quietly closed the door

" Yosh, good, Rukawa! Kampate!" called out Ayako, Shohoku's basketball team manager. The ever-present Ru-Ka-Wa girls uttered a small scream when they saw their idol nod and wiped his face with his shirt. The passive Rukawa Kaede returned to position of guard and he glanced almost absent-mindedly at Kanzaki who was unusually contemplative……

" Nyahahahahahahaha……slam….du…..!" Sakuragi Hanamichi sprang up to score his famous (he wish) dunk, but Rukawa immediately shot upwards to swipe the ball from the outraged red-head. " Duago…." Muttered the pale rookie as he passed the stomping Sakuragi who started waving his fist, "Teme , kitsune Rukawa…." Grumbled a pouting chibi Sakuragi……

the gym door slammed open, twelve dark-suited men and women ran in and began to set up some equipment. In shock, the Shohoku basketball members were each pushed out from the center of the court. A well-dressed young girl stepped up, " Rukawa Kaede-des?" Nonchalantly, the rookie nodded and obediently let himself be towed to a chair where several other people fussed over his hair and face……

" Lights……hai yah ken! Ike….good…."

"Oke! Wrap up! Iko!"

As quickly as it was brought in, all of the equipment were brought out by the people, leaving the team speechless as they stared at Rukawa who ,just as calmly, picked up the ball and scored a two-point jump shot.

"EEEEEEEEEEEE…….Rukawa….yah mah te….must control…" our ever-immaculately-dressed reporter adjusted the tie and beamed, " Hmmmmm, according to latest news, several top-of-the-line magazines have been featuring photos and interviews of our basketball ace rookie aka Rukawa Kaede. Since that 'little' episode in the gym, he has somehow become the hottest guy in the entertainment world. Why? Tune in for more news….."

Our director dropped the megaphone and became wide-eyed, " Eh…….since when did you become so reporter-like?"

Blushing, our reported replied, "Hehehe…. Sornna….hehe…."

Toooooooooooooooooot

Standby for news after our team carefully question our reporter on the new and suspicious " professional behavior" …………

Kanzaki walked along his partner whose eyes were closed with his face down as if half-asleep. All of a sudden, several giggling girls surrounded Rukawa, jostling Kanzaki aside. Without comment, Rukawa mechanically signed the outstretched books while grumbling Kanzaki poutingly scuffled his feet together. As the girls ran around the corner, the two continued walking….

Kanzaki peered at his lover at the corner of his eye……after a while, he quietly piped up, " Neh Kaede-kun, are you alright with this?"

Rukawa opened a river-blue eye, "Eh? Narni?" Kanzaki blushed, " You know…..the cameras, the attention….all the…."

"Narni iya….." Rukawa shrugged, then sauntered off, as a confused chibi Kanzaki scratched his head.

A/N Taka: sigh…….i think I'm getting writer's block………….inspiration has kindda stopped….

*glares angrily at Kei who is guffawing openly behind*……………
