The teenaged boy entered the room and swept his gaze,
carelessly around observing his classmates.
If your family were your world, would you want anything to change?
He sat and gazed at the desktop, dully noticing the scratches and dents in the surface,
and sub consciously checked on his family.
If you were one of the most beautiful, would you use it to your advantage?
He could hear girls talking about the prom, and his family,
He smiled as he thought of the distant dance, remembering…
If your kind were thought to be creatures of nightmares, would you believe it?
He closed his eyes, feeling the venom swell in his mouth,
the sweet smell of blood swirling around the room.
If you had learnt everything already, would you still look forward to class?
The door opened and closed, laughter reached the boys' sensitive ears,
and the fan blew across the room.
If everything you ever wanted to eat were right in front of you, would you savour it, or just devour it?
The boys' eyes widened as the fan blew the scent towards him,
and he fliched as if in physical pain.
But Edward would saviour the Chief's daughters' company…
