Rockfire's Short Story *Takes place between Twilight and Sunset.*:
It was the night after Rockfire became a warrior. Her mentor had been Ashfoot. Rockfire and Crowfeather were walking out in the territory, on patrol. They came across Leafpool.
"What are you doing on our territory?" Rockfire growled.
She didn't like Leafpool. She knew about Crowfeather and her being together, and Rockfire liked Crowfeather.
"I was just-" Leafpool started.
"Just coming to see Crowfeather, I assume?" she asked.
She was also angry with Leafpool because Feathertail was her friend, and Crowfeather just forgot about her and went to Leafpool.
"I'm going to Moonstone." Leafpool said.
Crowfeather stayed silent.
"Alright, I'll let you pass, but if any ThunderClan are in our territory any deeper, then we will rip you to shreds." Rockfire growled. She watched Leafpool leave.
Crowfeather looked at her in astonishment. "What's so wrong about her coming to see me?" he asked.
"Territories, and Rule 1, Crowfeather." She said.
"Rockfire!"
"I'm not going to tell on you and her. But, I can't act like I don't care. Someone could have been watching. Never let your guard down, Crowfeather. Never." She said.
"Why don't you like her, anyway?" Crowfeather asked.
"Because Feathertail loved you, and when she died, you went to Leafpool, not even staying loyal to Feathertail. You could be together in StarClan. Couldn't you?" Rockfire asked.
"I guess your right. But Leafpool had nothing to do with her death!" Crowfeather said.
"She had a lot to do with other things, Crowfeather." Rockfire said.
"But, Feathertail will forgive me, and we can be together in StarClan still." he said.
"I'm sorry, but what happens when Leafpool dies, or she dies before you. What would you do then?" Rockfire asked.
"I-I don't know." he said.
"Exactly." Rockfire said.
She licked Crowfeather.
"Now, let's get back." she said.
That night, when Rockfire was sleeping, she received a dream from Feathertail.
"Rockfire. It's alright. I don't care about Leafpool and Crowfeather. I'm dead anyway, and I know he still loves me." She said.
"But you know I love him now, Feathertail. But he had to go for another cat in a different clan." Rockfire said.
"Tommorrow evening during the gathering, reason with Leafpool. She will understand." Feathertail said.
That night at the gathering, Rockfire's best friend, Wildfur, from ShadowClan, was there.
"Hey Rockfire!" Wildfur called.
"Oh hey." Rockfire said.
"What are you so gloomy for?" Wildfur asked her.
"I don't know. I guess because of…" Rockfire said.
"Crowfeather?" She guessed.
Wildfur knew about Rockfire's love for him.
"Yeah."
"Oh, well, good luck!" Wildfur called, and ran off to her mate, Wildtalon, who was from her Clan.
Leafpool was sitting alone.
"Leafpool. I need to tell you something." Rockfire said.
"Yes?"
"Well, do you remember, yesterday?"
"Yes."
"Well, I'm sorry, I guess. I kind of like Crowfeather and well…You get it."
"Yeah, it's alright. I understand now. But it's ok."
"Thank you."
She nodded and Rockfire walked over to Wildtalon and Wildfur and sat down.
"Everything in ThunderClan is going fine." Firestar said.
Once all the leaders were done, Rockfire went home. Feeling good about herself.
