Author's Note: I do not own Command and Conquer. This storyline is not official (But it should be, hehe.)

There was a slight drizzle outside as Albert crossed a street in Munich, 1936. He stiffened his collar and opened the door to the tavern. He reminded himself of his mission. Avert the war that was all. He asked the bartender some questions before heading off upstairs. He opened the door to room 363, where his target was. The bartender wasn't lying, he thought quietly. Hunched over on the bed was a middle aged man with black hair and a small moustache. The man looked at Albert with disgust. "What is it?" he spat.
"Goodbye, Adolf," whispered Albert as he pulled out a pistol and shot the man in the chest.
At the very moment the bullet struck, time stopped. Albert Einstein was broken into two men. Two men and two timelines. That one bullet had shattered a once-perfect continuum into two distinct pieces. One Einstein went on to create weapons of war against the soviets. One Einsteins went on to become professors of physics at Princeton. They both shared the same thoughts, mind, and memories. When they passed away, there was no one left in the cosmos who knew the consequences of that one day in Munich, 1936.

1ST TIMELINE
This timeline is where you and I live. The one timeline not affected by Einstein's attempt to end the war before it began. This is the original timeline, but the thought that nothing will ever happen to it is absurd.
Since 1990, there had been a marked increase in terrorism worldwide. Especially in political hotspots. The IRA had its time in the sun until the true terror conflict arose, in the sandy expanses of the Middle East. Israel and Palestine, Afghanistan, Al-Queda, and Iraq were all breeding grounds for religious fanatics and terrorist cells. Through 1990 to 2000 and 2010, the level and ferocity of terrorism increased, until, at last, it all culminated in the ultimate international conflict. The epic war was about to begin between China, the US, and the GLA

2ND TIMELINE
After World War I, Germany had trouble adjusting. The restrictions thrust upon them by the allies were becoming too much of a burden. The public thought they were going somewhere when the Nazi's and Hitler ran for office, but after his mysterious assassination, it simply was not meant to be. So much hate was directed at the allies, that any German saying that Deutschland would soon depend on them would be mobbed. Unfortunately for Germany, and for the rest of Europe, that would become truth.
The Russians, they had had very successful post war years. Yes, communism was just beginning to flex its fledgling muscles. And with the world's largest army at its disposal, coupled with Joseph Stalin's leadership, that first flex would be influential indeed. With Hitler and his dreams of a vast German army gone, Europe lay open, a jewel, ready for the iron grip of the USSR.

The timelines lay open. The conflicts are brewing. But what will become of these shattered worlds? The two will soon be three when a mystery named Kane finds his way to a man called Joseph Stalin.
