Keeping your head up

Hold tight, you're slowly coming back to life

I'll be keeping your head up, I'll be keeping your head up.

Let go of all your haunted dreams tonight

I'll be keeping your head up.

Keeping your head up-Birdy

After Drew promised that they would still see each other, in the pokemon contests, May felt a small joy in her heart, aftet having been devastated to have gotten so close to the win the festival and then, losing.

She really hoped to see him again, because she had to admit that the feeling she had for him, in the beginning rivalry and then, friendship, was becoming something more. He was always around, confident, charming, but always helping her when she needed it and knew she liked him.

May opened a small smile when then she saw Drew stop walking and then started to walk back to her and the girl looked at him in surprise until he stopped facing her and Drew said gently:

"May... Early, I didn't want to say anything, because your friends were with you but..."

He pulled out a beautiful red rose and then held it out to May, feeling his heart racing, watching her surprised face open into a beautiful smile, accepting the rose gently and holding it to her nose. He had to admit, that he liked her, and wanted very mich for them to meet again in the contests.

"Thank you Drew... It's beautiful." And May knew it was for her, watching Drew's eyes soften, admiring her beauty and joy, and he continued in his confident voice:

"You've become a talented coordinator and I admire you May. So don't cry, keep your head up, because I want to compete with you again in the final and no one else." Drew admitted with a small smile, watching her blue eyes shine, while still smelling the rose.

"Drew..." May lowered the rose and then admitted with a big smile: "Keep your head up too, and I too want to be in the final with you and no one else."

"Good..." Drew mumbled and the two of them stared at each other and they clapped their hands in the air in a promise but didn't let go as they faced each other.

And then the two of them brought their faces closer and they and kissed.

The kiss was simple, only their lips pressing, but both felt their hearts beat faster, feeling each other's taste, before stepping back, flushed but smiling and then, Drew waved, walking away as Ash, Brock, and Max appeared beside May and smiled confidently.
