I've actually no real explanation on why I did this. Maybe it's because I wanted you guys to know a little more about my OCs Josh and Jordan, and how they interact in my stories (the ones that they're featured in, of course).

So, enjoy.

And just because I can: I don't own Ninjago

Opposites.

That's the honest truth on what they are. He liked bright, cheery colors; she liked dark and shady ones. While he preferred painting beautiful images of nature, she was killing multiple bad guys in the video game that currently had her interest before she became very mad at it and chucked it at the wall in her fit of anger. And yet, how those two can stand each other is beyond their understanding. After all, they don't symbolize Yin and Yang for no reason now, did they?

Joshua 'Josh' O'Harris is, to say the least, a gentleman. He does all the right things, apologizes for anything that he screwed up, and uses a napkin to wipe his mouth when he's eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Once again, to say the least, he's a gentleman.

Jordan Lee Valdez, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. She pulls mean pranks on everyone on the Bounty, and is the only one to laugh at something that even Jay would find repulsive. Nevertheless, she will never change. Ever.

And yet, those two share a special bond. During battle, they have each others backs, never letting the enemy find a weak spot in the other. When one can't seem to phrase what they want to say exactly, the other steps in and offers a suggestion. When one is angered, stressed, or frankly exhausted to the point of collapse (you guys get the point), the other will be there to help in anyway. (Yeah, I know. Jordan really isn't the most comforting person, but her feminine instincts, the few she has, that is, will kick in, and she can be quite the mom if she has to. But I seriously do not recommend that you go to her for advice and counseling…unless she is literately the only person left on the face of the planet, then I guess that that's an exception.)

When one's in danger, the other knows, somehow, where exactly she/he is and what the peril is.

Isn't the power of Yin and Yang amazing? Two complete opposites, yet both are needed if the world is to survive. To put it a little more simply:

Yang | Yin

Male | Female

Life | Death

Good | Evil

Light | Darkness

The list could go on and on and on. As long as one finds something negative, he must find something positive to counteract it, and vice versa.

I don't know why I came up with this, but I did. Could it be that, for the current time being, that I have a Yin-Yang symbol as a profile picture? That is another example: Yang is Sun; Yin is Moon.

The world is all about balance, isn't it?

So, yeah. A little bit of a lecture, but hey, at least you guys know a little bit more about Josh and Jordan. :D

I actually wanted to do something like this for the past few weeks now. And I guess that I should also mention that I did this in honor of MasterDerp5885, for without whom, there would be no Jordan Lee Valdez. So, thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for your inspiration of Jordan.

By the way, go check out MasterDerp5885's profile. Who knows, she just might be like you... ;)
