She'd come to the conclusion that she couldn't do anything right. Nothing was sensible to the reality flashing before her eyes. She's been awake all this time to a made up and fake world. No one was real, it was all make-believe. Only then did she realize her only mistake was in letting herself go that far, and letting the one thing that could break her, tear her apart. She'd never seen anything the way she had that night, in her dreams, in her mind. She'd made her share of mistakes but nothing could amount to the horror and painstaking regret she faced with each passing day. She'd done wrong, did nothing to fix it until it was far too late. Time blurred around her, time just something to her now, that wouldn't submiss to the onset of life. People would try to help, and get her out of her daze, but nothing was normal anymore. Maybe thats where it all started. She was different, a fragile, yet heroine in her own mind. She'd done what she could, fought back the tears with triumph, now all she could do was wait for the other part of him to take her. Nothing was right for him to take her like this, it was all wrong, yet she held no guilt or anguished fear towards him, all she felt was unsurpassed compassion and love while staring into his eyes. He had made the last choice so easy for her, nothing had every seemed so easy and gentle from him. Not his words, his touch, his sparkle in the daylight, not his gold eyes. Nothing but love and admiration for someone who'd unmistakably take her life away, but not her soul. That would be his. It always found its way back to him. Thats what they were born to do. To love one another with such passion and devotion, that both would do anything to save the other. Even for him, if it meant taking her life, and for her, taking on these qualities bestowed on her by him--this was enough she'd once said, not anymore nothing was going to be enough. They had love for one another that neither could have forseen. Not even his sister. She looked at him once more before the transformation was complete and said without thinking, "I love you Edward." And then she realized, that was enough. That would be enough for eternity.
