It was a stormy and thunderous night when a girl came knocking on my door.
I opened the door and found myself gawking at an auburn haired girl, shivering and who's obviously soaked form the rain. She was covering her ears, flinched whenever the sound of thunder came, and there would be fear in her eyes, but she always had that heart warming smile that made my stomach curl. Weird? I know.
I looked at her straight in the eyes. "What do you want?"
Of all people, why do I get to entertain a seemingly homeless soaked girl?! Has the world gone mad?!
"I aa-am so-rry. I-i-i ha-ad car tr-r-oubl-es." she said in between trembles
"Tch. Car troubles, eh? Fine. Get in."
I brought her some dry towels and sat her by the fireplace.
I also gave her a cup of hot chocolate. She thanked me for about a thousand times and I'd just reply with a grunt.
Rude? Tch. I don't care.
My turf, my rules.
Now she's just sitting on the floor in front of the fire. I can see her form still shivering.
Why did I have to notice that!? I knew my conscience would just nag me, so I gave her a thick blanket.
"Thanks!" She said with that huge smile of hers. Her smile that wouldnt fade, which bugs me a lot. What the hell is wrong with this girl!?
Once she's settled down I asked her the REAL question
"WHO HIRED YOU?"
