"This way, come on."

My heart is pounding as I run away from the men.

"Come on, she went this way."

I am running out of breath, quickly.

"Hurry, we've almost got her."

I am slowing down, I can't keep going. I run into the next ally and hide behind a dumpster.

The purple dragons want protection money from my father. When they came to my dads shop, he wasn't there, but I was. They decided to leave a message for my dad, they pulled out their bats and walked towards me. I ran out the back door before anyone got close to me.

I hear the men round the corner to the ally. "She's got to be here somewhere, find her."

Somebody grabs my arm. "I got her, she's over here." The man holding my arm said, before he threw me agents the brick wall. I fell to the ground after I made contact with the building. The three men surrounded me, preparing to sting their bats. The first man raised the club and was about to bring it down on my head. As his arm was raised three throwing stars were thrown from the shadows, into the bat.

All the men looked to see who was there. "Come out so we can see you." One ordered.

"Leave the girl alone." Said a voice from the darkness.

"Yeah? Who is going to make us."

A rather large figure stepped out of the shadow. He was a giant turtle, walking on two legs, welding swords. "I am."

One of the purple dragons turned and ran. The other two prepared for a fight. I watched in amazement as the turtle took care of the purple dragons.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

I quickly nodded my head.

"You don't have to be afraid. My name is Leonardo, but you can call me Leo." He said before holding out his hand to me. I take his hand, and he helps me off the ground.

"I'm Sarah." I say.

"How old are you Sarah?"

"Almost twelve."

"What are you downing out here by yourself?"

I didn't answer him, I just looked into his eyes.

"Here, let me take you home." He says before crouching down, "Get on my back."

I climb on to his back and hold on tight. He climbs up the building and asks where I live. I didn't tell him where I live, but I told him where my dads shop was.

Leo jumpers from rooftop to rooftop with ease. I felt safe on the back of the over grown reptile.

Before I knew it, we were standing in the ally behind my father's shop. I hop off his back, and he turns to look at me. "I'll take care of those purple dragons for you. You just stay out of trouble, okay?"

I nodded "Yes sir." I say before he jumps up the building and on to the roof.
