IMPORTANT! So I've been waiting quite a while for an angsty plot bunny to strike and today it finally did! Alleluia! Don't get me wrong, I love Adventures but sometimes you just need to get some good heart wrenching chapters, and I can't exactly go and screw up something happy. (Just doesn't seem sporting….) This is a special story, sort of like a choose-your-own-adventure. I will write the beginning of the story and you tell me which two characters it will be. In your review if you could leave who you think couple one should be, what should happen to them, and who is the last person. I'm leaning one way… but leave a good argument and I could be swayed.

It was raining that day.
Pounding rain beat down on black pavement and the windshield of a small car. The car careened down the highway, a favorite song of the drivers rumbling from the speakers. The lyrics filled the void in the car and attempted to compete with the rain. The man driving glanced at his sleeping wife. He reached his hand out and gently tucked a stray blond hair behind her ear. The woman smiled in her sleep. The man suppressed a laugh. He cast a glance into the mirror and spotted his sleeping son. His family. He felt his wife's hand twitch in his and it was almost like she was reminding him, "Not all your family." Yes, they had the team, as well as the latest addition to their family. A baby no one yet knew about, well, except for them. It was early still and they wanted to be absolutely sure. He was stroking his wife's hand lightly when the headlights blinded him. He felt the collision rather than saw it. And then everything went black.
Across town, sleeping fitfully, was another member of the team. The person's dreams were familiar, a repeating pattern of nightmares. The same visions of each of the team begging, pleading for them, and then shot. They awoke suddenly, body shooting up in bed. Eyes wide and crazed, they knew without verification. Knew without knowing because of a sudden hole that seemed to gape inside their heart. A name tumbled from their lips, a blend of a sob and a scream…
The next chapters will be longer but I need your advice before continuing!
