After all that went down with Naraku, Inuyasha and Kagome finally got the chance to tell each other how they feel. Read on to see what happens!

Inuyasha had finally raised up enough courage to ask Kagome to marry him. He had been waiting a long time for this moment. He just had to raise up just a bit more courage for what came first. Her grandfather's blessing. That would be the tough part. Inuyasha went through the portal to modern day Japan while Kagome was with the village women picking crops.

He soon found Kagome's grandfather outside with her mother hanging up laundry. He gulped, and walked toward his impending doom. They were surprised to see him, but before they could say anything, he loudly said "Mr. Higurashi, I, Inuyasha would like permission to marry your granddaughter."

Mr. Higurashi froze with a look of shock and loathing on his face. Before Inuyasha could even react, he was being hit over the head with a broom! Ms. Higurashi had to hold him while Inuyasha managed to escape. But as she was holding him, she said "Inuyasha, I will always think of you as a son to me. Now go. Go marry my daughter," she had a loving look in her eyes that suddenly turned evil and demonic, "But if you hurt my daughter in any way, I will track you down, cut off your head, and use it as a soup bone when I make ramen!" With that note, Inuyasha split.

And so Inuyasha and Kagome had a glorious wedding in front of the very tree where they ad first met, and also where Inuyasha had been pinned by Kikyo so long ago.
