~~~~~Crossed~~~~~
Stannis was pleased. He could now continue his quest to be king of Westeros unhindered by his younger brother. He was also pleased because he got to kill his brother in combat, rather than a shadow- which he thought was cowardly. However, Stannis Baratheon felt different, not different because he had killed his own brother, but as if by killing his brother something had happened to him, something had crossed over from Renly to Stannis. An 'evil presence' said Melisandre (who then begged to preform rituals to make the evil banish- only to be told it was an unbecoming trait of hers by Stannnis), but Stannis dismissed this idea; his life was already filled with enough worrisome witchcraft.
His next move was to go to Storm's End, which he gained by killing Ser Cortnay Penrose (and is now only a day's ride away), and capture Edric Storm. After this, he did not truly know what to do. He knew that Edric played an important role, but at his current time, this role was impalpable to Stannis. 'Maybe Melisandre will see something in her flames,' was all Stannis could think on the matter, but doubted her ability nonetheless.
After Edric was captured, he would have to to be pushed to one side and his fate will differ; depending if Stannis wins over King's Landing. Maybe Stannis would spare the boy if he was not needed, but he may have to be Stannis's back-up plan to gain the Iron Throne.
