"I said no mum!" Kirsty, a 16 year old girl was having the usual argument with her mother Anna. Kirsty never got on with her, ever since Anna got a new boyfriend who sat on his backside all day.

Kirsty left the house in a strop, slamming the door behind her and walking out onto the estate. The streets were filled with all the other teenagers on bikes and smoking cigarettes. Kirsty walked out near the train tracks, slowly approaching the bridge. Kirsty put her hood up and walked down an alleyway where a tall figure was waiting.

"Hello babe" the boy said to her, Kirsty looked up with her ocean blue eyes meeting his brown ones.

"Hello Michael."

Michael went into his pocket and waved some car keys in the air. Kirsty looked in amazement "Wicked, you nicked a car?"

"Just climbed into old Cyril's garden, there he was asleep, with the backdoor open and there they were on the counter. So I thought we should go and joyride, to see what the big deal is"

"Ah sweet" the two ran to the blue Vauxhall corsa sitting in the drive. Michael unlocked it and got in. Kirsty hesitated but followed and neither put on their seatbelts.

Before long the two were driving around the estate, having a laugh. What Michael was unaware of that the car's breaks didn't work, the car had been off the road for a month. Michael went speeding down the main road. Dylan Keogh was busy walking his dog, as he walked to cross the road without looking he saw the car quickly approaching. Michael went to brake but couldn't, he swerved the car missing Dylan and went straight down a hill and into a tree with a big huge crash.

Dylan stood there, truly amazed, but not shaken at all. Slowly raising an eyebrow "Damn kids."
