Year 1, summer, first tournament.
Ash had promised to himself that he'll confess his feelings to Serena if he successfully wins the Kalos League. He lost the league. Became depressed and had almost given up as a pokémon trainer. He came to Sinnoh to seek help from Cynthia. He was given lectures and intense training shortly after.
He had promised himself that he'll never travel to a new region until he wins the Kalos League.
Year 2, summer, second tournament
Despite the brutal training, he had lost the league once again which shattered his heart. Cynthia and Serena were there to witness it but were unable to help. He was extremely depressed.
He was so depressed that he had given up as a pokémon trainer and decided to visit Altomare hoping to live a peaceful life with Latias. Unfortunately, as he came to the secret garden to find Latias, he saw a latios, Latias and a baby latias playing around. He assumed it was Latias's mate and daughter.
He became depressed further and wasted no time leaving the garden. He came to the pokémon center and cried for hours, not even knowing that Cynthia was beside him. Cynthia had tried everything to calm him down, but nothing worked until she bravely asked him to shower with her. (She did not become pregnant).
All that could be heard was moaning and names being shouted repeatedly.
Year 2.5, winter.
At winter, Ash was depressed again and was calmed down shortly after showering with Cynthia. (That got her pregnant).
While Cynthia is a few months pregnant(unknown to Ash), Ash had told her he wanted to give up as a pokémon trainer and wants to live a normal life in Pallet Town. (He hasn't asked Cynthia to marry him yet). Cynthia didn't like what he had said and she asked him to try competing in the Kalos League one last time. She suggested him evolve his Pikachu to Raichu, which he had a hard time accepting. She also suggested him capture Latias.
It is revealed that the Latios had no love interest to Latias, it was just a friend who needed help taking care of his own children. (A widower).
Intense trainings were given to the eon pokémon. During the first few days of training, Latias was really hyperactive and she had taken Ash's ball cap in which he begged for her to return and do "Anything" she likes after training.

Year 3, summer, third tournament.
Ash participated in Kalos League again, defeating everybody that crossed his path fair and square. He won and confessed to Serena.
Ending: He came home to Pallet town with the three pregnant girls (Cynthia, Latias and Serena). His mother, Delia was surprised to see 3 pregnant girls. She asked him to keep only one girl which became a difficult situation.
