Disclaimer: I don't own Sky High
This vacation is really boring so far since most of my friends have gone someplace and I have to stay at home (like always).
The Problem with being Teenaged Superheroes is...
1. Your parents leave for hours every second day...
"Mom?" Will called as he entered the house, "Dad?"
He searched the whole house ending in the Secret Sanctum last, since his parents were usually only there when they were busy Superhero-ing. Will leaned against the pool table and observed the large room, until something small and white caught his attention.
'We're going to Jamaica to defeat Super surfer, we'll be back by five, take care.' The note read and Will sighed, his stomach grumbled in agreement. He was so hungry. He wasn't in the mood to make himself some food since he could burn a sandwich and he was broke so he couldn't get take out.
Maybe he should go and mooch off Layla.
2. Your powers could be annoying...
Ethan didn't feel too good, he had been worshiping the porcelain god for the past three hours and he didn't dare leave the bathroom. He also found out that if he didn't concentrate when he was feeling sick he melted without trying to, like when he's scared.
He laid down on the tiled floor of the bathroom and immediately felt better than when he stood up. He heard his cell phone rang and waited for it to stop since he really didn't want to stand up.
A few hours later his mom came home and found a large puddle of Ethan sleeping on the floor when she almost fell in him.
3. Having a super villain father really isn't all it's cracked up to be...
Warren entered the medium sized apartment that he shared with his mom, René Peace (formerly known as the super heroin Pierce). His mom sat at the table since she had the day off from work. They greeted each other and she handed him a large pile of letters.
"These are for you." she told him with a small grin.
Moments later he was sitting on the couch opening the first of the letters (like he didn't know what it was).
'Come and join us.' the first letter read and it was from Dr. Skull. Warren sighed and proceeded to open the rest.
'It is in your blood!'
'You will be taken by them if you do not come with us!'
'Return to your roots!'
'May you be dunked in warm marmalade if you refuse our offer!'
The super villains of the world really didn't know when to stop did they.
4. You get taught weird subjects in school...
"What extra subjects do you have?" Zack asked Will.
"I have Basic Flying Maneuvers, Super Control, Hero Phrases, History of Heroes, Dodging Attacks and Theme Song Coordination. What do you have?"
"Color Matching, Gadget Usage, Basic Escaping, Animal Handling, Side Car Riding and Hero Worship. Why do we have to take such stupid classes? Is there really a need for us to know how to wash super suits?"
"Well, we are Sidekicks." Magenta said.
"Hero Support." Ethan corrected.
5. Villains attack at weird times...
The group was sitting in the living room watching a movie and everyone (except Warren) laughed. The phone rang and Will ran to get it. Minutes later he entered with the red phone in his hand.
"Guys, what should I do, my parents are in Germany and there's a giant octopus threatening the city?" Will asked franticly.
"Why don't you take care of it?" Warren asked in a monotone.
"I can't do it alone."
"Then we'll help you." Layla said.
Less than an hour later they entered the house covered in Octo-goo.
There! I dug up Sky High the other day and was reminded how much I like that film, especially Warren. Peace out!!
