A/N- Last time I checked, there were at least three different fic series that had the original digidestined in them. Yow. You all know what I mean by original digidestined, right? The ones that came before big-hair goggle boy Tai and his crew. Five of them. I'm gonna write about them now. This is just kinda the intro. If you like it, I'll post the rest of them. There's also some stuff in here about a story I'm thinking of writing.

Five digimon were sitting in a circle in the center of a grove of trees.

Leomon, the digimon of Determination.

Ogremon, the digimon of Honor.

Tansuimon, the digimon of Reliability.

Sylphmon, the digimon of Sincerity.

Sutenekomon, the digimon of Vengeance.

They were the first.

The digimon partners of the first digidestined.

"Well. They've stopped the Digimon Emperor. Should we tell them?" That was from Sutenekomon, the small grey cat.

The slender, sticklike bundle of green feathers that was Sylphmon said, "Do they even know about us? They've only met Ogremon and Leomon."

Leomon replied, "Gennai told them they weren't the first digidestined. He didn't tell them anything else."

"So what do we do? For what's coming up, they might need our help." Tansuimon said in his watery voice.

"What can we do? I'd like to see Mimi and Joe again, but we can't afford to show our faces." replied Ogremon.

They all remembered what had happened when Ogremon and Leomon had fallen under the control of Devimon. It was fortunate that they had only been in their Champion stages at the time; none of them wanted to think what would have happened if Devimon had controlled SaberLeomon or Onimon. And if what they had learned was true, the new power that had recently arisen could control even Mega level digimon with ease.

The very idea made them shudder.

"Well, there's only one thing to do, then. We'll have to lay low for a while. Agreed?"

The others all agreed with Leomon, albeit reluctantly. Sylphmon spread her wings and flew into the sky, returning to her mountain lair. Sutenekomon faded into the surronding shadows, returning to the alleys in the city he called home. Tansuimon melted into a puddle of water-his preferred method of traveling-and quickly flowed out of the grove.

"Well, it looks like we'll never be able to finish our duel, Ogremon."

"Too bad. I was looking forward to it."

The two friendly rivals parted company once again.

There. I'm done. How was it? If you liked it, or you want to know more, just review. Please review this story. I need practice in writing longer stories, and any kind of comment would be appreciated. Hey, I'll even take flames. Something. Anything. Oh, and I would like to thank someone in this space. This thanks goes to Silver, author of the AWESOME 'Walkabout' series. Silver, thank you for including that address in the first chapter of 'Justice', the online dictionary is a great source for digimon names. There. I thanked him. One last thing: If you can figure out what Tansuimon and Sutenekomon mean, I'll...do something nice for you.
