Hello my viewers. This is my first time typing a fanfic for Dishonored. I've managed to be online from time to time. I've played the game, so I know a bit a info about this. All copyright of this game belongs to whomever it belongs to. Except for my OCs. Without a further ado, here's the chapter.

The Seers of Reincarnation: Prologue

As night dawned onto Dunwall, all of its people slept soundly. Though after the recent events that occurred, one being the rescue of Emily Kaldwin: proving the innocence of Corvo Attano and therefore reclaimed the tile of Royal Protector. Following the current affairs, Emily's first order of business was to prevent her citizens from being infected by the Rat Plague. After the call was made, Piero and Sokolov worked together to find a cure towards the plague, distributing vaccine shots to the people.

After several months the Rat plague slowly diminished; Unfortunately the probability remains if the Rat Plague was to suddenly spread once more. On the behalf of the city and her deceased mother, Jessamine Kaldwin, Emily passed the Cleansing Act. Written by the council members, the act states:

Upon the Cleansing Act, that any district must evacuate citizens towards non-infested districts as before burning down infested buildings. Further more, all merchant and trader ships should check their cargo for any rats before docking in any harbor.

Cleansing Act by Council Members

After the Cleansing Act, the Rat Plague was completely gone. The people were once again happy, free from the infection that trapped them within insanity. As for the poor, Corvo suggested that they should be moved to a better district as guards sanitized their homes for healthy living conditions. The people, feeling that Princess Emily has met their needs, cheered as they celebrated her success of the responsibility of the throne.

Though, as the good people of Dunwall celebrated, others hid in the shadows, arguing that their ruler isn't fit be holding her title. One of the men, states that someone else should rule the throne instead of a child. Upon stating the idea, the members agree to meet in the future to discuss further plans as they were assimilated into the crowd. Little did they know that their plans would be stopped by two unlikely strangers.
