Ok, so for any of you who remember me, I wrote a fanfic in my
sleep and swore I would never write another one again. Well, I
lied. My friend Sarah wanted me to write her a short story about
her favorite non-couple-but-totally-should-be-a-couple, so I did.
It's short but sweet. Enjoy!
Ginny's New Pet
-Dedicated to Sarah!
Ginny
walked down the deserted corridor, frequently throwing looks behind
her to make sure she wasn't being followed. As she neared
a turn,
Ginny was roughly grabbed around the middle and pulled into the
darker shadows. She squeaked at the sudden movement butquickly
calmed down as she felt familiar, warm arms turn her around. She
stepped closer and wrapped her arms around the neck of herabductor.
He leaned down and slowly kissed his way up Ginny's jaw line to her
ear. After he succeeded in making her heart race, Ginnyheard him
say, "About bloody time you got here." She shivered with
anticipation.
Ginny was late to charms, so she rushed down the staircases, a few changing on her, and subsequently ran down the charms corridor. As she was about to open the door, someone pushed her against the wall and started kissing her collarbone, making her breath become ragged and her legs jello. She could barely stammer out, "Not… here… not in… public." But he kept going anyway, ignoring her weak protests. As Ginny was nearing the forget-about-charms-and-find-a-closet point, she heard footsteps coming down the hall. "Stop, somebody's coming." She felt him stiffen at her words, and then heard a soft pop just as she saw the person turn the corner into the charms corridor.
Ginny was frantic. If anyone caught her with him, she would be an outsider, an outcast, shunned. She would have no more respect from her fellow peers. When Ginny focused on the sight of the intruder, she cringed. It was none other than Harry Potter, the most influential kid in Hogwarts and if he caught them together, there would be no one left for Ginny to talk to. Harry stopped when he saw Ginny with a panicked look on her face. "You know, Gin, Flitwick won't be that upset if you're late to class. Come on; let's get in before we miss anything really important. And Ginny, when did you get a ferret?" Ginny looked down at her feet and saw a platinum ferret stalking the ground in front of her, as if he was warding off all others from her, a sight that made her chuckle on the outside and smile brightly on the inside.
