Guess what? I don't Naruto or anything from there.
This is my first time writing anything like this, so crit is well appreciated. Especially harsh if needed.
All of you know about Naruto and how he's going to be in this, kick ass, and save the day with the help of a badass author insert. Well he's not. And I'm not. This are original characters in a mostly-original story. I'll drop in a few references to other mangas/TV shows/etc. here and there, but this is mostly mine. I have read three other fanfics, but they are all Bleach crossovers and one time travel thing with the main characters, so this shouldn't be similar to anything else and if it is, it is PURE COINCIDENCE.
Anyway, this is a story of Mangetsu Mayonaka. He's from the Hidden Shade Village. The Mayonaka (meaning Moonlight, so expect a lot of Lunar themed jutsu, as well as the nickname "Bunny" based of the Bunny on the Moon legend) family is known for bitterly hating the Hyuga (More or less Sunshine. Get it?) clan of the Leaf, but once upon a time, one Mayonaka woman fell in love with a Hyuga man. They then had kids, who had Mangetsu. He doesn't have the Byakugan, but instead uses the trademarked "Bursts" that the Hyuga are known for, but he doesn't use the Gentle Fist Style, as it would be useless for one without the Byakugan. He instead uses normal taijutsu enhanced by his clan's Moonlit Chakra, which takes a visible jet black appearance when used. He is well rounded in ninjutsu, taijutsu, and less so with genjutsu.
Appearance wise, Mangetsu is a giant, standing 6 feet in a world of 5'6 being an average. He has predictably medium length silver hair, light gray eyes as a result of his lineage, a long white jacket, a gray T shirt, dark gray pants, gray combat boots, fingerless gloves with a light steel plate on the back of the hand, and wears his headband as a belt.
Mangetsu is not very friendly. He hates his entire graduating class except for his two teammates. This is not an accident. If he was stuck with anyone else, people believe that that person's lifespan will be shortened dramatically. They are right. He will cut you. He will cut you with a hammer, and hammers don't usually cut, so you can imagine how long and painful an experience that would be.
Other characters as well as the story will be explained later on, but it's about his time through the Chunin exam and the people he meets/fights/etc.
