Magic in the Toy Box
Nicola was a pretty little girl who had dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. She loved to play with her small brown puppy named Murphy. But one day Murphy didn't want to play with her. He was too busy sleeping. Nicola was lonely. She went off to her room to look for something to do.
Her lovely room was painted in bright shads of lavender, and in the corner was her toy box. She opened it up and peeked inside. Hidden between several old toys was a fairy wand with a glittering golden star at the top. She pulled it out and looked at it. "I'm really bored," she said. "I wish I could go to a jungle."
Suddenly, a flash of pink light filled the room, and Nicola found herself in the midst of a steamy jungle, surrounded by all kinds of plants and flowers. Butterflies of every color darted up around the ceiling, which was now hidden by the branches of tall trees. But then, the leaves behind Nicola began to quiver.
