A/N: um ok so this one just came out of no where. It's a little bit Draco/Ginny and a little bit Tom/Ginny and I'm putting it in both ways. Ok here we go…
I'm sorry
It was late autumn. Students were profiting of the last warm days before the winter came outdoors. The castle gates reopened to let another student enjoy the afternoon. A 16 year old Ginevra Weasley walked straight to an oak tree and sat under it.
"Hey, Draco." She gave her boyfriend a kiss on the cheek.
"Hey, Ginny." He took her hand and started tracing circles with his thumb.
They just sat there, simply enjoying each other's company. Suddenly he gently took her chin and kissed her full on the lips. The kiss was sweet but full of passion.
"I love you." He whispered after they broke apart.
"I love you too." She smiled, they'd been together for almost an year and this was the first time they confessed their feelings towards the one besides them.
They stood like that for what seemed like years -but were actually five minutes- gray eyes staring into chocolate brown ones. Then out of no where a high- pitched scream pierced the air. Draco turned around to see all of the Death Eaters coming out of the Forbidden Forest. He heard a gasp from next to him and turned to see Ginny staring to their leader. It was Voldemort, but not the ugly, red eyed, bold freak they were used to, no he had finally found a charm to take back his real features. Unfortunately the Dark Lord had taken his 16 year old ones.
Memories of the Chamber rushed beck to Ginny's mind. Oh, God, please not him. Please. The girl bit her lip. However her plea wasn't heard.
Not even 3 hours in the war Ginny saw Harry flying in the air, seemingly unconscious. Everyone stopped fighting.
"I won." Said Tom.
"No, you didn't!" certain platinum- blonde Slytherin shouted. "You've got to go through us first.
"That isn't very hard. Avada Kedavra!" the spell hit him square in the chest. Draco fell on the ground. Dead.
"DRACO!" Ginny cried but it was too late. She ran to him and stared shaking him. "Draco! Draco, wake up. Don't leave me alone. Please don't." tears were running down her face.
"You are still so naïve, Ginny." Tom's cold laugh rang behind him. Ginny stood up to face him. His cold blue eyes took her brown in. after he officially won the war he would make her marry him. He would wake up every morning and would stare in those deep brown eyes, she would smile at him and kiss him, and they will always be together.
"Why, Tom?" her voice was barely above a whisper. She wasn't angry, she was sad he could see it in her eyes. "You took everything from me. Why did you have to kill him? Why Draco, Tom? Why?" there were no more tears in her eyes.
"I…I" he stammered. Something deep in him broke and he knew that even if he made her marry him she would never smile. Never again. His reason to rise wasn't the thirst for power, it was Ginny Weasley. He killed her love and a little piece of her. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything, Ginny, please forgive me." He raised his wand, "Goodbye." And stabbed his heart.
Tom fell in Ginny's arms. "I love you." He whispered in her ear and slid on the ground blood oozing from his wound.
Ginny stood there frozen a single tear sliding down her cheek. There were hugs, pats on the back from the "Good guys" and all sorts of Thank you-s. She just stood there or hours not even blinking. The two men she ever loved had died before her eyes. She fell on the ground taking both of their hands and broke into heavy sobs.
