hey readers whats up this is my first angst fic so all reviews are welcome...flames and critisism is welcome...it tells me wat i do wrong

this came to my mind as my friend left to move to california on June 30th 2010...had to mark the day...not sure if i can post this on this day but ill sure as heck try!

Death is a sad thing to go through

It was a sad and dreary day in the village in the leaves. It was lightly raining out side and you could just taste the sadness in the air as the ninja of the leaf gathered around a memorial stone with a casket in front. The stone is dedicated to the many great ninja's that died in battle. What brave ninjas they are.

All the ninjas gathered around in their glistening black outfits. Sakura was evidently crying and holding a drooping scarlet rose in her hands. Naruto was also crying but he was not holding a rose...instead he was gripping disceased's forehead protector. Naruto started to walk up there slowly and solemly. When he reached the obsidian casket Naruto gently lowered the headband onto it. Then after paying his respects he turned around and walked away...most likely to go back to his apartment. Then Sakura walked up to the casket and laid down her rose. She wispered some last words to him before she, like Naruto, walked away. Sadly Sai and Yamato have not been in the village for a whole week due to a mission, but in their place Kakashi went up for them and himself. He laid down 3 glistining pink roses right next to Sakura's single rose.

After The disbanded team payed their respects the other teams went. It started from team 10 with Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji. Then came Gai's team with Gai, Lee, Tenten, and Neji. Then some other ramdon ninjas went, some ninjas who worked with him on a random mission. Then the family came to pay their respects. Last, but not least came the deceased's team. First, even though she shouldn't be there due to her baby, Kurnai very slowly walked up to the casket with the help of Hinata. They both payed their respects to their teamate and said their filial murmers of goodbye. Then Hinata helped her sensai back to the hospital just in case something happened.

The remaining member of team 8 stood there. Soon he was drenched in the rain...as...he...stood...there...with...out...his...friend.

Slowly he made his way up to his friend, and teamate's casket. As he got up there he slid open the casket and looked at his friends cold pale face one more time.

"Goodbye buddy...I'll see you when it's my time ok? Don't get too lonely up there without me ok?" He said as he slipped a small folded up note into the casket. The last teamate closed the casket.

Now there is only one person left in the soggy field that surrounded the casket. She knew the man in the casket more than anyone alse did. She was going to be his wife. That is untill he died. She had met with the hokage earlier and she said that the woman could just declare herself married to him and take on the clan's surname.

It seemed like an eternity untill she finially decided to go up there.

"Goodbye my beloved, I shall come back every year untill I am dead and next to you." She said and she opened the casket a little and dropped a small stone crimson heart into it. Then she closed the casket for the last time.

As she closed the casket she felt something under her hand and on the casket. She looked down and saw small carving of insects covering the obsidian casket.

'That's just what he would of wanted.' She faintly thought before she walked away.

Shining on the casket...engraved for all to see...to forever be there...was...
