For the first time he met Shizuo Heiwajima, his whole world had change.

Once upon a time, he was a normal child lived in a normal household. His parents was normal, and so were his lived a normal life, went to normal school, had normal friends. At that time, everything felt normal and beautiful, happiness seems so easy.

He didn't know when that normal life changed. He himself don't know what changed that. What he know, was the darkness surrounded him when the sky slowly fell above his head. His parents started to hate him. His sisters, younger twin sisters, that always looked so sweet during their childhood, started to annoy him beyond relief. Maybe that started when his sisters went to primary school, that they hate him because they think he didn't worth their love. Or maybe his parents were the ones who thought that when he went to middle school. Maybe they thought he was too old to be loved, or maybe simply because he didn't worth any love from the beginning and thus, the love was fake all this time. He didn't know. He doesn't know. Isn't that ironic? He, Izaya Orihara, the one that claim to know everything about humanity, doesn't know the true meaning of something as simply as love.

So when he met Shizuo Heiwajima for the first time in high school, he felt his whole world changed. He felt a deep feeling about this, thus, because he decided that love was non-understandable, he called that feeling as hate.

But he didn't know that he never know that he never truly know what hate was. Or rather, he didn't, doesn't know the line between love and hate.
