A/N: These are my pre- and post-DH plugs. The first is for Snape; I wrote it the day before DH came out, in a mad Snape-is-a-good-guy he-was-misguided-in-his-youth frenzy (props to Purrr and I for knowing about his love for Lily ahead of time). The second drabble is my replacement for that atrocious epilogue of which I never again wish to speak. It actually sounded like trashy fanfiction (no offence). So I ripped it out of the book and wrote this in instead.
Each is 100 words.

"I can teach you anything you want to know."

Draco stood in Snape's classroom, mesmerized by the bubbling cauldron in front of him. "You told us you could bottle fame."

"Achieve it for a day, and I'll harness it forever."

"Brew glory?"

"This potion is all you need." Draco twitched, as though longing to capture the liquid sunshine. "Felix Felicis would lead you there."

Draco seemed to be waking from a trance now; his eyes were clear and bright as he said, "Stopper death?"

Snape froze. "Even the Dark Lord was foolish to try. Everything comes at a price, Draco."

2. Nineteen Years Later

Draco stood on Platform 9 ¾, feeling a little out of place. Part of him had lived through the war; his ideals so over-turned he didn't know whether he wanted his son to be a Slytherin or not. Another part of him, though, was still the stuck-up eleven-year-old who made Harry Potter sick.

He looked around, feeling a bit guilty, and the sight of Harry made his insides clench. Well, time to make amends, Draco thought, catching Ron Weasley's eye.

Ron scowled.

"Scorpius," Draco called to his son, "see those redhead brats over there? You're going to want to…"
