Echo In Eternity

Echo In Eternity

The stagnancy of life and death is nearly unbearable to behold and witness. Lives are lost and haunted eyes are doomed forever to wish that the fallen could be reborn again. Humans have to be sacrificed in order for another life to be salvaged, but in war, no one can ever be reborn in the casualties afflicted by such ferocity and hollow faith. Carnage's clutches become the demise of so many, of both Britannian and Eleven alike. Corpses of the slain have died upon the fray of battle, the massacre impossible to erase from one's subconscious, unleashing the fracture of the insanity of both stoic and the weak.

When did you last see sanity and madness in between? Such beauty in such pain and hatred – seeing the one you ultimately cared for screaming and falling in death would tear a human's soul to shreds, so reminiscent of the downfall belonging to both nations. The sadism of the Britannians and the Elevens will devour two innocent lovers, and who will be joyous then?

The beauty of blood and glorified empires is lamost too similar for a sane human to be a part of.

The beautiful princess of a brutal empire, Euphemia Li Britannia, had to die for the sake of one land, one land of which once belonged to the one she truly loved. He has to suffer and be damned by the guilt of being unable to save her from death's icy grip. The honorary Britannian, Suzaku Kururugi, had fallen in love with Euphemia; he had fallen in love with her beauty, grace and everything that made her the loving person she was. They both loved each other, hoping for peace to shine upon the two lands, but now Suzaku's soul is stained with blood, Euphemia's blood.

Imperialism has now reigned suprme ever since the death of Euphemia and the suffering of Suzaku, all because of the demons belonging to the mercurial nations.

The gentle girl and the honorary citizen are nullified whatever ideals and rights they once had, now that they have been silenced by deep sorrow and faithless death. The nations Suzaku and Euphemia had represented deserted them in the name of the kingdoms that had destroyed them from the inside out. Sanity has fallen through the dark abyss, the light of destruction taking hold of what was left of their well-being.

Suzaku and Euphemia wanted the scarlet-ridden kingdoms to become one glorious utopia, but the empires only thought of them as tools. What is left of both are only remnants of who they were and their destinies that would echo in eternity.
