So recently Rose has been... distant around Dave. replying to his pesterchum requests with few words, and rarely leaving her room, if at all. Dave, being the nice morally upright thing to do would be to wait for his sister to leave her room and to search it for whatever could be making her act like she was. He just never suspected to find her "Journal" (she had crossed out Diary on the front with a black sharpie). Not wanting to invade her privacy, but being unable to control his own curiosity Dave opened the Journal and began his journey into the mind of his Sister. Inside he found mostly what he suspected, ramblings of his sister, admirations of someone named "lovecraft" and a hidden interest in all things wizard. but nearing the more recent dates Dave began to notice a change in her writing style. No longer the steeped letters and well-worded-ness he expected, Rose's writing took on a fever pitch. she seemed to have some interesting thoughts written out of something that sounded like more than a passing interest in a certain person that rose would not name. well almost, every example of the name was scratched out thouroughly with one of those quills Rose insisted on writing with. reaching the most recent entry though, Dave found that not all the instances of this enigma's name were scratched out.

"Dave Strider, how you annoy me. Always strutting around with those shades of your's on, always "Spitting ill rhymes", or "being so chill a freezer could only warm you" you have somehow managed to... ensnare me within the aura describable only as "you" i just want you to stop with the coolkid thing and pay more attention to those around you who care for you. people like... me, as painful as it is to admit. There are days that i wish you would just take off yuor glasses and see what was right in front of you, that you would take me and make me yours, and you mine."

Dave put down the journal. He could hardly believe what he had just read. his own sister, Rose, the snarky horrorphile had a crush, no not just a crush, a crush wasnt a big enough word to fit what he had just read. his sister was in Love with him. But the disgust never came, instead he found something he could only describe as returned interest? Unfortunately for Dave's conflicted feelingss though, this was the moment that the door chose to open, admitting his apparently incestuous sister into the room. Tossing the book back onto the desk that he had taken it from Dave attempted damage control only to be stopped short by his sister. "I take t that you read the whole thing. didnt you?". Dave nodded, "Then I imagine that you know what my next question will be?". Again, with a terse nod of his head, "and?". such a short word. yet so packed with emotion, with unsaid words, Hopes, Wishes. For the first time in his life Dave Strider was left speechless. Rose's face fell, "I see... well i guess if you could just keep what you re-MMPH" Rose was cut-off by Dave's lips. Something she had could have only hoped about was happening, and Rose? she was going to enjoy it.
