Innocence and Purity

Introduction

When I looked at her I saw her pale skin that gave me chills, I saw her crimson red eyes that signaled her thirst, I saw her angelic face that looked pure but was the face of a murderer. The real her was gone forever, and all that was left was a soulless monster. She was once so innocent and pure but now she was blood-thirsty and cruel.

Chapter One – Sarah's point of view

"Dad I'm going out. I'll be back later." I said while I walked out of the front door and grabbing my car keys. I didn't wait for my dad to reply back or give him any time to. The ground was slick with rain and I carefully stumbled across the driveway. I tripped on a small crack in the cement but caught myself on the car mirror. I quickly straightened back up hoping no one saw me, and then climbed into the front seat. I listened to my car roar back to life and then started on my way to wherever. I didn't care where I went I just needed to get out of the house and away from all the stress.

I drove closer to a park and turned into the parking lot. The park looked abandoned and dark. I made my way towards the swings and sat down not caring about it being wet. The cold water felt like knives on my skin. The sky was a dark, gloomy gray color. Slides and benches around me wear broken and worn out. The grass had been ripped up and was now mostly dirt.

Suddenly I heard someone coming up from behind me. I didn't move pretending I didn't know anyone was there. "Hello." A deep voice said. I turned around.

"Can I help you with something?" I asked coldly.

"No, but you're not supposed to be here. The park is closed for the day." Said the voice, It came from a guy that looked to be around my age. His hair was dark and his eyes looked like emeralds. His skin was white and he looked like a ghost, but he was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I sat there feeling stupid for being so rude to him. I started to get up but then remember that my pants were soaked because of the puddle I sat in. "I hate to ask you to leave but you really do need to go. You could get in serious trouble being here." This time his voiced sounded soothing.

"Oh. Sorry; I didn't know this place was off limits…" My voice must've trailed off because he looked at me with a concerned expression.

"Do you need a ride? It's no trouble for me to take you home." I thought about accepting his offer when I remembered he was a complete stranger, for all I knew he could've been a killer.

"No thanks. I drove here. I can drive back." I hesitated to get up but then did so quickly and then turned around.

" Ok, I guess I'll see you around then." I turned back around and made my way to my car. I heard him chuckle; he must've seen the back of my pants. "Wait! I didn't catch your name."

"Danielle." I answered and I felt as if I were in his trance.

"Jamie." He ended the conversation with a polite smile which made me want to run and hide from his beauty. Then I stumbled back to my car and closed the door tightly. Then I sat there for a few minutes try to review what just happened in my head.

That guy had made me feel so intimidated but safe, there was something about him that made me want to run into him again. I didn't care if he was a murderer; I had to see him again. Soon.
