Au note-ok so this is the first story I have done on here so tell me if it honestly sucks. Please don't be afraid to hurt my feelings. Haha but I did this without writing anything down so I'll probably go back and fix stuff sooner or later. But here goes nothing haha. I may not have all my facts straight so correct me if I do something wrong.

Summary- it's Rubys first year of collage and she is luck y to be going to the same school as Nate. She has talk to him since he left but hasn't seen him. Rubys worried about how they're going to make this work, she still is wary letting anyone in and Nate's still Nate. They will go through hard times and good times but will love always be enough?
Wow. Collage, I can't believe I'm here. Its been about nine months(just guessing about the time, because I'm not sure) since I came to live with Cora and Jamie. I still sometimes find it hard to think about my mom. Cora and me are getting along just fine, we learned a lot about each other and I realize now she really did try to get a hold of me. But enough about that I'm at collage. I just can't really grasp that yet.
"Ruby, Ruby. Earth to Ruby."
"What did you say Olivia?" Olivia was going to the U with me, we actually are really good friends now, especially since the whole thing with Nate.
Nate, I hadn't seen him since he went to Arizona to live with his mom. We had talked a lot and he says he always wears my chain. Man, I miss him. But he was coming to the U this year and I was happy!
it's the day before Olivia and me are off to collage and Cora and Jamie insisted on throwing a party for us. Figures. But here I am at a party with tons of people of people o don't know. This is going to be fun. I had seen Peyton and Marshall the other day, they were still together. I still feel really hurt by that sometimes but I, realize that I don't need them if they are going to be like that. Oh, I need to listen to Olivia.
"…I can't believe I'm really going to collage I mean who would expect me to go to collage. Did you hear me Ruby?"
"Yea. I did Olivia." I Had been at this party for two hours now and was getting ready to use the excuse of going to bed early, and needing my sleep for the big day tomorrow.
"Cora, I'm going to go on to bed now. Ok. I really need my sleep for tomorrow." She gave me that look that says "I'm not buying that one." Please just let this one pass Cora. "Ok Ruby, see you in the morning." Thank god!
I walked upstairs and got ready for bed. The last thing I remember is thinking that this is going to be one heck of a year.
