Chapter 1
"Wow! This world is amazing! The brick shops, the stone roads! Talk about a cozy town!" Kuri said as she walked though the new and mysterious world. Hmmm, sea salt ice cream... I wonder if it tastes any different from frozen yogurt? Kuri walked into parlor got her ice cream and left. Outside, a rowdy group of boys noticed her. The tallest one came up to her and said "Hey cutie, new around here? The name's Seifer, what's your's?" "Not interested, but just to humor you, it's Kuri" "Let me show you around town..." Seifer smoothly asked. "No thanks, so please move out of the way." Seifer grabbed Kuri by her arm. "Let go of me or I will force you to."
"Come on Roxas! Let's go, or we won't get any ice cream!" yelled Hayner as he walked out of their hangout. "I'm coming..." Roxas said with a groan. As Roxas and his best friend Hayner were walking to Mr. Redson's ice cream parlor when their other friend Odette, came running up to them, "Guys Seifer is getting beat up by some girl, I've never seen her before though, she must be new around these parts." Roxas hurriedly replied" let's go and introduce ourselves then!" When the three arrived Seifer and his gang where running away, and the mysterious girl bumped into Hayner "are you blind or something?! I'm standing right here!" "Actually I AM blind, for your information" the mysterious girl replied. Roxas just stood there amazed, he wonder how she was able to beat up Seifer without even seeing him. And her eyes where not a usual color, they were red on the outside, ocean blue in the middle, and light blue by the black of her eye. "Um, the dude next to the girl, can you stop staring at my eyes?" The blind girl said to Roxas " Oh, sorry, I'm Roxas, the one you bumped into is Hayner, and the girl next to me is Odette" " I'm Kuri, nice to meet you Roxas, Hayner and Odette, you guys want to get some sea salt ice cream? " "Ice Cream!" Hayner yelled. And the four walked home with sea salt ice cream.
"She finally decided to reappear, after her little disappearing act." A tall figure cloaked completely in black said as he watched Roxas and Kuri on the T.V. screen "How do we know that it was her choice to come back? What if she was brought here?" another figure in black stated." "Well let's watch some more, then tell the rest of the members." Said the taller figure.
"Are you sure you weren't just imagining her?" Sora asked Riku with worry in his voice. "I'm sure, she was real. After we defeated Xemmas, on that island there was a girl sitting on the rocks above the water. There was this sad vibe about her, like she was looking for something, the same way I felt when I faded into darkness." Riku replied. SWIISH, Sora and Riku swiftly called up their keyblades. "Riku, what was that?" Sora quietly spoke. "Beware of the rose by no other name, and the el niño con la mezcla. But in my care you will never have to worry about that. " In a second the voice faded into the darkness. But that was the last of the peace. Suddenly several vines of darkness shot out of Riku's heart. " W-what's h-happening. H-help m-me S-sora." And then everything went black for him. "Riku!"
