THE DOCTOR: SUNSET ON EARTH
he liked to watch the sunset
it reminded him of home
where
oranges, pinks and reds
like fire lit the sky
nostalgia
a gentle smile on his face
but on earth it always faded
to black
like his home as it was dying
a world as it ended
melancholy
an ache in his hearts
sunset reminded him of what he had lost
so he didn't watch the sunset
very often
