"Jade, would you quit it? Maybe Tori'll let you play Suzy." Cat said, looking on the bright side of things. Something she does a lot. Jade had just been told that Tori got the lead in ANOTHER play. Beck's in Canada, so he can't even tell her that she's better than Vega and prettier and a WAY freaking better actress.
"Whatever." Jade went to go sit on the steps, a bored/depressed look on her
Suddenly, Tori ran over. "Hey guys, Robbie's in the hospital!" "What happened?" Cat asked. "Well, all I got was a text from Rex saying 'there's a car parked in Robbie's butt.'
The teens looked baffled, but worried about their nerdy, puppet-addicted friend. "We don't know what that means." Cat said, speaking for all of us. "Well, who would?"
Andre, Jade, Cat, and Tori went to go see their friend in the hospital. They got there and saw Robbie who still had his hand up Rex's back. How does he do it?
They learned that Robbie needed O negative blood for his surgery or they'll have to transport Robbie to another hospital. What everyone else didn't know? Jade was O negative and was just in a bad mood period. Beck wasn't there, she didn't get a lead in the play, and the worst part, her mom had just passed away from Leukemia cancer.
"I-I'll donate blood." Jade stuttered and swallowed hard.
"Jade, you're O negative?" Tori questioned, astonished.
"Sure."
Jade smirked.
"I'll donate the pint of blood. I don't care."
"Ok. Robbie, looks like you're girlfriend wants you to be ok." The doctor assured him. "I'M NOT HIS GIRLFRIEND!" Jade shouted, as the nurse took her into the blood donating room. Jade loved needles, so this should be fun!
The stuck the needle inside her and the pain soothed her.
After a few minutes, the nurse took the needle out of Jade's arm.
Robbie came into see Jade after she donated the blood.
"Hey, puppet boy."
"Jade, why did you donate blood?"
"What do you mean?"
"You're mother just died, Beck's gone, and you didn't-…Jade, are you trying to commit suicide?"
Jade instantly tensed up in her recliner chair.
What did she really have to live for?
"No, I jus-" Before Jade finished, she took the chance of Robbie right in front of her and kissed him.
"Yeah, I tried to commit suicide. But did it work? No."
The nurse came in again and Robbie left. They told Jade to drink her water and stay hydrated.
When she was alone, she looked around the room for anything that was pointy. She found one of those medical knives and with a shaking hand, she made it tear her porcelain skin.
Goodbye, Robbie, Vega, Cat, Andre, and….Beck. Goodbye, dreams of becoming something people care about. I've lost faith in everything I've achieved and loathe all I've become. Jade thought, seeping the knife deeper.
Before she knew it, the light of her life went out.
