And Daniel and Betty linked arms as they walked up the catwalk after the show was over.
"You do look really beautiful, you know." Daniel compliments.
"Aw, thanks Daniel." She blushes. "This all really meant a lot to me."
"I know. That's why I did it."
"Wait," Betty stopped, "You didn't do it for the little girls!? You didn't do it for the right reasons!?" Betty began to panic.
"No, no, no, Betty." He calmed her, "I did, but I also did it simply because you asked me to, Betty."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Thanks, Daniel. That's really sweet." She blushes again.
"Anytime." Daniel smiles and pats Betty's hand, the hand that is warming his arm. "Come on, lets go grab some coffee."
"Okay!" She replies enthusiastically to the simple offer; and Daniel laughs, because her smiles and enthusiasm is exactly why he loves her.
