PROLOGUE
Shiki pov
After the final day of it all, mostly everyone left. Others decided to stay and help rebuild the school but all the students had to be moved to other separate schools until Cross Academy was finally rebuilt.
Even some of the vampire hunters came to help rebuild which sped the process up but it took under a year until it was actually finished.
Some may say it was a good thing as some parts of the school got updated: for example new science labs and a new cafeteria system, even though I don't bother going to the cafeteria.
When I first arrived at Cross Academy, it never felt like home to me nor did my friends feel like family. But after spending a few months at this place, I grew to love it.
I was now head of the Moon Dorm; a few more vampires came to Cross Academy and most of its original students and some other new ones.
Rosia pov
My parents moved from the busy life of Tokyo to the outskirts of Osaka. My mother is a successful dentist and my father a successful doctor, so why they moved away from the city where they earn more money? They have plenty of money already they told me and they wanted to be closer to outdoors with less people and to do more research on the wild life.
I decided I'd try staying at Cross Academy, see what private school was like. I was an only child and with my parents wanting to do more research it'd be quite lonely at home.
So I hoped to seek adventure and friendship at Cross Academy…
