Jasper POV
Chapter 1: Alice
I sat on a large boulder waiting for Emmett to finish off the bear. I still couldn't believe that he was still not over losing to that bear many years back. "Hey, Jazz how 'bout a friendly competition?" I tasted the air around me, their was a pack of elk up north, so I would probably win this one. Just as I was about to tell Emmett it was on when my cell rang. "Jasper, I need you and Emmett to come back as soon as possible" Alice shrieked and hung up the phone. "Emmett, you heard Alice let's go." He nodded and went off.
I felt the feelings around me as we came in everyone was panicked, so I started sending waves of calm everyone until they gradually relaxed. "Alice what's wrong?" She passed me a book, "It's about us; We were just waiting for you two to come back so we could read it. There are other books as well, 4 to be exact; this one is 'Twilight', the others are 'Midnight Sun', 'New Moon', 'Eclipse', and 'Breaking Dawn'." I turned it around and read the back. "About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire." Everyone in the room froze. "Second, there was a part of him— and didn't know how dominant that part might be— that thirsted for my blood. "I sent another wave of calm to everyone before they made me explode. "And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him." Emmett's booming laugh could be heard from Seattle. Rose was glare at Edward and her feelings?... they were off the chart. Esme looked at Edward, "In love with you Edward you'll finally find your mate?" Her happiness was almost as overwhelming as Rosalie's fury.I thought about giving Rose an extra wave of calm. "Don't bother Jazz it won't work. Here give me the book that way we can continue with it." Rose stood up from where she was seated and turned to Edward, "YOU IDIOT HOW COULD YOU LET A HUMAN KNOW OUR SECRET! SELFISH FOOL, MORON, JACKASS—"
"Rose calm down nothing has happened yet and nothing will. It's just a book." Edward responded to her insults calmly even though he was nervous about was the book said also. I handed the book to Alice and sat down. "Okay, let's start."
