It was Transfiguration with Ravenclaw, last period of the day. Harry Potter was sitting at the back of the classroom next to his best friend Ron Weasley. At the front of the room was Harry's other best friend Hermione Granger.

Harry's eyes were gazing at the front of the classroom right at Hermione Granger.

Hermione Granger was one of Harry's best friends, and lately he had grown even closer in friendship with Hermione. It was their fifth year. They had been back at school for about a month, and since they had been back, Harry had not been able to take his eyes off Hermione. Did Harry have a crush on one of his best friends?

Hermione turned her head around to face Harry, so he immediately looked somewhere else, his eyes landed upon Professor McGonagall, their Transfiguration teacher. She was staring right at him, with a confused look on her face. Harry looked around the classroom to see everybody staring at him.
"Mr Potter?" Professor McGonagall said.

"Um, yeah?" Harry questioned.

"Could you please read the next paragraph for us?" McGonagall asked.

"Uh... um... sure," Harry muttered. "What are we up to?" Harry whispered to Ron.

"Haven't you been paying attention? Page 45," Ron replied in a quiet tone.

Harry spent the next minute reading the paragraph aloud for the class, with a slight red blush staining his cheeks.

After class, Harry got up out of his seat and shot right out of the classroom. Ron caught up behind him. "Hey, wait up," Ron said as he ran up to Harry. "What was all that about?" Ron asked suspiciously.

"What are you talking about?" said Harry, although, he knew exactly what Ron was talking about.

"You weren't paying attention in class, that's never happened to you before, you always seem so focused." Ron said.

"Just... got distracted," Harry muttered.

Ron had a suspicious & curious look on his face."Distracted by what...or who?" Ron asked.

Harry kept thinking, should he tell Ron? Should Harry tell his best friend? Harry hadn't told anyone yet.

"Hermione," Harry whispered.

Secretly, Ron felt a ping of jealousy in the pit of his stomach, but he wouldn't let Harry know that.

"Oh," Ron said with wide eyes, but before he could say more he was interrupted by Hermione joining the group.

"Harry, you really should pay more attention during class, otherwise you'll be behind." She said sternly, furrowing her eyebrows in a strict way.
