A/N: First Naruto and Ino, sorry about cliché -ness of it.

Ino knocked cautiously on Naruto's door. She wasn't sure what to expect when she entered. His moods could be unpredictable to say in the least, so to say she was worried was an understatement.

When he opened the door with a gloomy expression on his face, she felt guilty as she breathed a sigh of relief. It wasn't like she was happy to see him like this,on the contrary, it killed her to see him when he was upset, but experience had told her that depressed Naruto is easier to deal with than an angry Naruto.

She stepped forward and enveloped him in a tight hug. "What happened, you sounded all emo on the phone and I was worried."

Ignoring her remark, he pushed her off him gently and walked back inside, wordless asking her to follow. She did, going into his lounge room and curling up next to him on the couch he collapsed on. Bringing her legs underneath her, she shuffled closer to him and softly rubbed his shoulder. "come on, whats wrong? Is it Sasuke?"

he sighed heavily and nodded. "Yeah, hes being a bastard again, I don't understand why he does this all the time."

She slung her arms around his neck, resting her temple on his shoulder. "I don't understand why you don't just beak up with him, you deserve so much better. All he ever does is hurt you."

"thats not true." he replied. "We have good times."

"But that bad ones severely outweigh them." she insisted.

"Look Ino, I asked you to come here to be a friend and make me feel better, if you care going to give me a lecture, just go home."

She mentally hit herself, before moving closer. "I know, i'm sorry." she whispered, before silence washed over them.

She knew she shouldn't have been like that, he always hated it when she tried to convince him to leave Sasuke, but she couldn't handle the fact that the Uchiha was the reason he got like this

They were always fighting and Naruto would be left totally jaded or so pissed off he would yell and throw objects until she stopped him and he burst into tears. Every tome she saw the look on his face she would be so infuriated that she would wonder what had ever possessed her to like Sasuke.

She stayed in that position until Naruto fell asleep in her arms. She slid him off her, laying him down and getting a blanket to lay across him. She kissed his forehead gently and walked out, leaning against the door after she closed it behind her. At the end of the day, even if he had his heart broken time and time again Naruto still loved Sasuke and even if she had to pick up the pieces every time, Ino would still love Naruto.

A/N: Uh, ew, I cant believe I wrote that... oh well, review please, this is my first attempt at Ino, so don't be too harsh.
