Taichi sighed as he watched Yamato perform on the stage. Yamato the famous, the most popular guy in school. Everyone wanted to be his friend, all the girls wanted to date him. Taichi sighed again.

Taichi first realized that he had a thing for Yamato back in the original journey to the Digiworld. Sure, he and Yamato fought all the time, but he really never wanted to hurt the boy. The boy he had fallen in love with. The boy who made his heart flutter. Not Sora, not any other girl, but Matt.

Now that they were older, and matured a bit, they were best friends. They did all sorts of stuff together. But Taichi couldn't say anything. Number one, it would ruin their friendship. Two, Yamato was dating Sora. It hurt Taichi to hear Yamato tell him all about their dates, not cause he wanted to be in Matt's place, but because he wanted to be in Sora's. But he always gave his support, cause that's all he could do.
