What was so special about night time? Besides its quiet serenity and peace that you felt simply? Hiei just couldn't see why Kurama was so fascinated with it. One night as they laid under the sky Hiei couldn't let the question stay bottled up. "What do you find so fascinating about the sky Kurama?" His crimson eyes looked at the young man laying down by him as he stood.
"The stars. Look at them they are just marvelous in themselves." Kurama's emerald eyes wandered across the sky. Hiei looked up for a few minutes.
"They are million of space dusk an gases in space that are light years away Kurama what's so marvelous about that?" His spiky black law defying hair blew gently in the wind. He looked back at Kurama who started to chuckle lightly to himself. "What's so funny Kurama?" He asked a bit annoyed, he didn't like it when the fox would laugh at him.
"I didn't think you knew information like that Hiei, I'm impressed. "Kurama sat up, Hiei watched his long red hair flow down his back. Hiei wouldn't admit it, but he loved, yes loved everything about Kurama. He was truly one of a kind. Hiei always wondered what it would be like to run his fingers through the soft looking hair, to kiss the lips that spoke so much wisdom and kindness. "Come here, sit down I'll show you something." Kurama grabbed the fire apparitions hand pulling him down beside him. Scooting closer as he pointed leaning down closer Hiei felt a blush on his face as close as Kurama was. "You see those three stars in a row?" He pointed to a constellation. Hiei nodded looking up trying to focus his attention to what the fox was pointing too. "See how it leads to two stars in corners on top an bottom and then the four stars that curve slightly. That's Orin the three stars in a row are his belt. Each constellation tells a story its basic astronomy." He explained. Hiei only nodded his head.
"You find interest in this Astronomy thing?" He turned his head as Kurama did their faces only inches apart. Hiei held his breath feeling his face burn. Kurama only smiled and closed the space in between them. Hiei was shocked, but after the initial spark he kissed Kurama back. Kurama stroked Hiei's cheek.
"Well, I never knew Hiei." Kurama smiled
"Neither did I." Hiei pulled Kurama closer kissing him again running his fingers through Kurama's silky red hair. Kurama held Hiei close to his body as they kissed. They laid down looking at the stars held close to one another. Hiei now knew why stars were so fascinating they held one hell of an effect for two star crossed lovers.
